Reese Witherspoon has often gushed to the media about how much she loves her Ojai, Calif., ranch and its resident animals, but it appears that at least two of her furry friends are ticking off the neighbors.

According to US Weekly, the Oscar winner’s miniature donkeys, dubbed “docile and sweet” by Reese, are driving people nuts with high-volume hee-haws. From the magazine:

It’s so bad that a few residents have sent her a letter,” one local said. But the 35-year-old actress’ neighbors don’t want her to leave, just quiet down her donkeys! “She’s beloved here,” a neighbor said. “I’m not even sure she knows what’s going on.”

Witherspoon bought the 6-acre spread for about $5.8 million back in 2008 because she said it reminded her of her childhood in Tennessee. ”I have two pigs, and I have three goats and I have 20 chickens and of course I have three dogs,” she said during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last December. “And I have one horse. It’s hanging out with the donkey, it’s sweet,” she added.

No word yet on how exactly Witherspoon will quiet her pet donkeys — dubbed appropriately “Honky” and “Tonk” — but if they’re anything like the one in this clip, I can understand why her neighbors are looking for a little intervention.

The stunning actress visited Russia and Poland to celebrate Avon’s 125th Anniversary with the Believe World Tour. The Legally Blonde star wore Avon’s Empowerment bracelet and necklace, which were created back in 2008 to help raise money to fight domestic violence all over the world.

While in Russia and Poland, Reese and Avon presented $60,000 to two different charities that are dedicated to fighting domestic violence within their country. In Poland, the grant went to Blue Line, a Warsaw-based organization that fights violence against women and children. In Russia, the Avon grant was presented to ANNA, the National Center for Prevention of Violence in Russia. Go Reese!
